KTR’s OAC line of oil/air blast coolers feature a high performance and quality design well suited, but not limited to, applications in both the marine and construction industry. Oil and air designs are available from stock with fan drive options consisting of 12V, 24V, 230V/400V and hydraulic drives for an IP55 motor as standard. The fans blades themselves feature the latest design minimizing noise while improving efficiency, consisting of a nylon PAG material.
KTR’s OAC are also available in a marine specification involving a corrosion resistant KTL dipping and coating process for frame, fan cover and protection grid. Marine coolers feature IP56 electric motors with special painting and protection.
Furthermore, OAC sizes 200-1000 are ATEX approved according to EC Standard 94/9/EC with an electric motor in accordance with ATEX II 2 G Exell T3 and feature a special fan.
KTR’s coolers feature a maximum static operating pressure of 26 bar in aluminium (Al) and are suitable for hydraulic oil, gear lubricant oil, lubricating oil, motor oil and water-glycine while an easy maintenance design and good options for cleaning help reduce downtime.

Steel laminae couplings, RADEX® and RIGIFLEX®, work well in difficult ambient conditions and can also be supplied with highly stiff glass or carbon fibre spacers for bridging large shaft distances. KTR’s RIGIFLEX® couplings also correspond to API 610 and 671 regulations, and are ATEX certified. The new RIGIFLEX® HP (high power) design has been specifically developed to work at high speeds (up to 13,000 rpm) with applications such as turbo compressors and the compression or liquefaction of natural gas.
